Spring is an important time of the year, as it is a season full of the dualities of life and death. During Spring major transformation is happening to the earth and within ourselves. In order to understand the cycles of life at large, we must honor our own internal shedding and emerging processes. In this class we will discuss tools, rituals, and herbal allies that can be helpful during times of change, transformation, and the magical energies of Spring. When we hail the rebirth and comings of Spring, we hail our own growth and resurrection.

Tending to our grief is a sacred process. If we can learn to gently move with it instead of pushing against it, we can learn that we do not have to fear our grief. Our emotions are not meant to be exiled, nor our emotional processes. Many of us feel grief in different parts of the body however often, we point to the chest area as holding much of our mourning. The archetype of the witch has throughout history been one to understand the importance of pleasure and embodiment. Witchcraft has been a tool people have used for centuries to understand themselves, unlock hidden desires, reclaim space, along with so much more. The Underworld, a special destination described similarly by many across varying cultures, is a place where we can find spectacular magic. Many believe that we must descend to the underworld to truly understand who we are, confront our truths, and find liberation. The Underworld was a sacred space where many have ventured to learn the true duality of the human experience - but they were not alone.
